As we face unusual levels of the unknown and anxiety, ground yourself in what is... take a walk, feel the earth below your feet, breath slowly. The attention to what IS brings you back to your body and out of your head. Much of anxiety is related to our brains thinking too much. Getting physical can literally bring balance back into your nervous system. Use your body to heal yourself.
I have included some mindfulness techniques that use meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, observing your emotions and how you feel them in your body, to help guide you back to the present moment. Leave the flooding and overwhelm behind.
